the day after
A cold, dark, rainy morning. It's New Year's Day and I head into Hanover's city center early in the morning to document what the city looks like on the "day after". I don't meet many people on the way. It's empty, dirty, the atmosphere is cold and forbidding.
I documented this morning with my Fujifilm x-Pro3 and the Fujinon 23mm 2.0 WR.
The clean-up work at the deserted Steintor has not yet begun.
A deserted passage. Not a soul to be seen. The stores are completely closed.
The architecture is sparse and uninviting, just like Hanover. ;-)
Intermittent rain falls.
A few poor souls were driven out the door in the morning.
